This Ford Bronco Gas Tank Skid Plate is designed to keep your stock gas tank from getting smashed in during hard off-road driving.

Drag it over some rocks or throw your floor jack right under the center and lift your Bronco!

We’re building this strong Skid Plate Cradle using 1.25” x .120 wall DOM tubing, 3/16” frame mounts, and are finishing it off with a 3/16” aluminum skid plate to keep rocks and branches from getting through the tubes. The tubing closely follows the bottom of the gas tank for minimal ground clearance loss. The ground clearance lost is a small factor compared to the strength gained.

We’ve incorporated an “X” into the bottom portion for added strength. Finally, installation is made easy for you by locating to factory frame holes and all necessary Grade 8 hardware is included.
