Dana 44 Twin-Traction Beams came on the 1980-1996 Ford Bronco and 4wd F150. The 1992-1997 4wd Ford F250 with the leaf spring came with Dana 50 TTBs. Dana 44 Cut N’ Turned Twin-Traction Beams are modified at the lower ball joint for proper alignment to work with 4″ lift coils or a coilover conversion on the Bronco and F150. However, Dana 50 Cut N’ Turned Twin-Traction Beams will only work with a coilover conversion design. Dana 50 TTBs are not as “tall” as the Dana 44 TTBs which presents axle issues when the TTBs are cycling through the travel. Dana 50 TTBs require additional machined 3/4″ threaded weld-in bungs to accept Dana 44 radius arms. Dana 44 beams will work best with Solo Motorsports 1 1/4″ heimed extended radius arms and pivot boxes. However, Dana 50 beams will only work with Solo Motorsports 1 1/4″ heimed extended radius arms that are modified. If you have another brand radius arm for your Dana 44, call us to confirm if it is compatible.

- Optional Dana 44 Beam Plating $1300. This includes plating the front, back, top , and bottom of both beams and adding a truss and skid plate to the driver’s beam. We also replace the bushings with uniball cups, uniballs, and stainless steel misalignment spacers.
**Refundable $350 Core charge on Dana 44 and Dana 50 beams only or exchange at the shop. They must be straight and free from excessive rust.
