This is the heart of the System. Our Swaybars are all splined in a particular manner which eliminates the infamous spline shearing problem we have seen from all the swaybar setups up to now. I am going to try and explain this as best as I can here but if you have any questions please feel free to call. They are also completely tuneable.

In my research of Swaybars I found some pretty obvious issues. I was expecting the Desert Racing companies to have solved the issue but they were actually having the worst problems so no easy answer there. The main issue lies in the shearing of the splines and the fact that most of the arms are narrow & aluminum. The next issue came from the companies making the bars and telling people that their generic bar was exactly what they needed. It may have been close but tuning wasn't even thought of. In my opinion thats just wrong. The "Universal Swaybar" cannot exist, the only reason it was being promoted was to make sales...

The swaybars we know evolved from Ford 9" axle shafts. Ford and Toyota use a 90 degree pressure angle which allows for a large Minor Axle Diameter. A 35 spline 9" axle has a shallower pressure angle than a Dana 60 that uses a 30 degree pressure angle and takes a deeper bite out of the shaft making the minor diameter ~1/10" smaller. This is a good thing for the 8" & 9" axles but not swaybars. In the realm of Swaybars the impacts are sudden and extremely hard, the shallow splines & narrow arms used are their downfall. We chose to use the deeper pressure angle, deeper has a greater surface area and still gives us plenty of room to work with when tuning.
