IT’S BEEN ALMOST 40 YEARS SINCE ANY TRUCK MANUFACTURER HAS USED COIL SPRINGS FOR THEIR REAR SUSPENSION, BUT WITH THE DEBUT OF THE NEW BODY STYLE RAM 1500 IN 2009 WE GOT EXACTLY THAT. A BOLD NEWLY STYLED HALF TON 2WD WITH AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT REAR SUSPENSION THAT PROVIDES AN IMPROVED RIDE WHILE MAINTAINING A STRONG LOAD RATING, TWO THINGS DODGE TRUCK OWNERS EVERYWHERE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER ABOUT!

WITH THIS IN MIND WE SET OUT TO OFFER OUR CUSTOMERS SUSPENSION LIFT OPTIONS THAT WOULD PROVIDE INCREASED GROUND & TIRE CLEARANCE WHILE MAINTAINING THE STOCK RIDE, HANDLING & LOAD RATING! FIRST WE PROVIDE 4" OF LIFT USING OUR TRIED & TESTED FABRICATED LIFT SPINDLES(NOW ALSO AVAILABLE IN DUCTILE CAST IRON AT A REDUCED PRICE) THEN ADD URETHANE SPACERS TO GET TO A TOTAL OF 7" OF FRONT LIFT. WE USE THE STOCK COILS ON THE 2009-2012 RAM 1500 HEMI IN ORDER TO RETAIN THE FACTORY FRONT COIL RATE AND RIDE. IN ADDITION TO THE FRONT SPINDLES AND SPACERS YOU MUST RUN THE CST STEEL BRAIDED BRAKE LINES (PART# CSTCSS-D11-1) INCLUDED IN THIS KIT. FOR THE REAR OF THE TRUCK THE CST 7" KIT (CSTCSK-D23-10) USES 4" FABRICATED SPACERS AND A PAN-HARD BAR DROP, KEEPING THE FACTORY LOAD RATING & REAR RIDE QUALITY. 

LONGER REAR SHOCKS ARE REQUIRED BUT SOLD SEPARATE & AVAILABLE IN THE CST STREET-SERIES SHOCK LINE.

NOTES

  • WE DO NOT MAKE A COIL FOR THE 09-2012 RAM 1500. YOU MUST USE PART # CSE-C16-4 URETHANE COIL SPRING SPACERS (SUPPLIED IN THIS KIT) ON TOP OF THE FACTORY COIL SPRINGS FOR THIS APPLICATION.
  • REAR SHOCKS ARE REQUIRED BUT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT. (SEE ABOVE)
  • WHEELS CAN NOT HAVE MORE THAN A 5" BACKSPACING.
  • NOT FOR USE WITH 1500 MEGA CAB!
