Important Kit Notes
- 1. Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some models with dual overloads will require 4068.
- 2. Rear lift options will not fit dually applications.
- 3. Exhaust modification will be required for dual rear shock kit 122009.
- 4. 2500 Gas models will require modification to the front exhaust crossover pipe on driver side for proper clearance when a transfer case indexing ring kit is installed
- 5. Will not fit Cab and Chassis models
CRITICAL SELECTION: Engine Type
This system was designed for Diesel models incorporating the 8" progressive coil springs, but can be used on gas models with BDS 6" springs and coil spacers. Choose your engine type below.
CRITICAL SELECTION: Transmission Type
Choose the appropriate transmission type to get the correct transfer case indexing ring kit.
CRITICAL SELECTION: Rear Lift Options/Axle Diameter
This system is available with either the standard rear block kit or new BDS Glide-Ride rear leaf springs. Both of these options are available to work with the two possible rear axle diameters. Please measure your rear axle and select the appropriate rear kit for your vehicle.
NON-CRITICAL SELECTION: Front Shock Selection
Choose between the custom valved NX² series or the Fox 2.0 series gas charged mono-tube shocks.

For those looking to maximize rear axle control a set of BDS Traction Bars is just the ticket. Reduce axle wrap and wheel hop during acceleration. Highly recommended for high horsepower/torque applications. Tubular design for good looks and serious axle control. Black powder-coat finish. Standard and RECOIL Series Traction Bar Systems are available.

BDS Suspension 8" Long Arm Kit for the 2008 3/4 Ton & 1 Ton 4WD Pickup.
This 8" long arm kit includes progressive rate, frontPro-Ride Coil Springs and heavy duty, long upper and lower control arms. The lift kit includes solid upper long arms and tubular lowers to reduce caster change through wheel travel creating a more controlled feeling in the steering wheel both on and off road. This 4-Link long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms as well which adds to the stability of the suspension system. What does this mean? Basically it drives great both on and off road. All four control arms are greasable for long term performance.
A dropped forged pitman arm is included to maintain the factory steering angles. A track bar relocation bracket properly centers the axle under the vehicle. Extended bump stops and sway bar links maintain the OE characteristics.
The rear of the Dodge Ram is lifted via a 5" block kit or optional Glide-Ride Leaf Springs.
Not only is the kit designed to last, but so is the finish. Every bracket and control arm is powder coated black for long term performance.
